Sports vs. School

            Pros:
I think sports are so much fun. There are so many different sports and teams to choose from.  Unlike with schooling, in sports if you don’t make a certain team there are many other teams you can try out for. But, with academics if you fail an entry test you don’t have a chance to get into that field until the next year or maybe even longer than that. If you’re really good at sports then you’re able to get different types of scholarships. If you’re smart and athletic then you have a chance to get a scholarship to college for academics and sports. In the long run if you’re very active and participate in many sports you will have a higher chance of being in shape when you’re older. I think sports are fun and a great way to stay in shape and a great way to be healthy.
            Cons:
In different ways academics are more important than sports are. It’s obvious that the smarter you are the better college you will either get accepted to or get into. Then after college academics help to get better paying jobs. If you take schooling seriously the better your grades will be and the easier college will be. Education plays a big role in order to get into a high ranked college and to be ranked higher in society. If you have a great education you will be able to get an office job and will not have to do physical labor. If you have a higher education there is a higher chance you will get your dream job. Being both smart and athletic will look very good on resumes and you will have a better chance at getting the job you’re applying for.  I focus on my academics more than I focus on my sports and physical fitness. But I believe both are very important to live a successful life.

School vs. Sports

            Pros
You don’t have to be athletic to get anywhere in life. You can play no sports and still do fine in life. Most of the jobs today are based on education. It is more important than activities and sports. In school most of your classes test you on what you know and not what you can do physically. Even in gym they want you to know stuff mentally and not only physically. To pass college courses, and to even get scholarships, you need good grades. You can’t rely on strength or endurance or skill to get you a job in life. How many people do you know that can get bad grades and still get scholarships? I don’t know any and that’s because you need to be mentally mature and have higher intelligence to make it through life successfully.
            Cons
As much as you need intelligence, physically skill is helpful in many things. There might be more occupations with intellectual skills needed but there are also a lot of physical jobs. Also if you are healthier and more physically fit there is a larger chance that you will live longer and be able to continue your career longer therefore making more money for you and maybe a family that you are supporting. A lot of things in life can be and are better if you are healthy. You can participate in more activities and be open to more options in life. You can go and see more places and be able to do more things. Sports open kids and adults to more options than sitting at home all day.

Night vs. Day

            Pros:
The nights are not fun during the school year, but during the summer they are better than the day. I love summer nights, they are so much fun. During the summer the days are so hot and humid; but then when the night comes everything cools off. I hate the summer days they are too hot sometimes. That’s why the nights are better than the day.  I love hanging out with my friends during the night. Everything just gets better when it gets dark out. When it gets dark out you’re able to play with glow sticks and run around like idiots. I love having bonfires and making s’mores, spider dogs, sausage and hobo pies with my friends. Then my friend’s and I act like little kids when we hang out. So, we listen to Hannah Montana or High School Musical and go crazy at night and act like idiots. We sing and dance to the old songs and pretty much just act ridiculously crazy. The best thing about summer nights is going midnight swimming. I love summer nights they are so much fun. I can’t wait for parties and get together’ with my closest friends this summer.
            Cons:
I like the summer days just as much as I like summer nights. But I hate school days just as much as I hate school nights. Summer days are fun when they aren’t blazing hot. It’s always fun to go to amusement parks and to the water parks. I love going to water parks during the day and going down the water slides. They are my favorite. I like the days because there are so many things you’re able to do. There are many places to go during the day. Many places aren’t open 24/7. Summer days are just as fun as summer nights.

Day vs. Night

            Pros
Day has so many options. Every morning you wake up and decide what to do. I love having a choice. I like not knowing what’s going to happen and during the day anything can happen. You never know what is going to happen during the day. At night you mostly sleep, usually. Most people sleep. That’s kind of really boring. In the day there are many different weather conditions. You can do so much in any weather condition. At night it’s mostly cold and wet. I hate at night when there are the most bugs out. It sucks because I always get bitten. I hate it and if I don’t want to get bitten I have to wear pants and a sweatshirt and then I get hot and uncomfortable.
            Cons
I love the night because my favorite thing to do is play with glow sticks and black lights and other glow stuff. I love using them and breaking them I also like the night because it makes games more fun like hide and seek and ghost in the graveyard. I also love to swim at night. It’s not pretty and relaxing. Much better than during the day when it’s mainly to cool off. I love having bonfires and roasting marshmallows and hot dogs and maybe sausage. It is a lot more fun than doing that on a grill during the day. Also I hate heat and it’s always cooler at night so in the summer the night is always the perfect temperature. I burn really easily and at night I can’t be burned unless I jumped in a fire, highly unlikely.

Money vs. Presents

  Pros:

Everyone is always excited for their birthday every year. But they never know what they want to get from their friends and family as gifts. Like with my family I get asked the same question every year "What do you want?” My answer is the same every year, "money". I think it’s easier just to ask for money because then the friends and family don't have to worry about going shopping, getting the gift on time, and buying the right size, style or color clothing. All around it’s just easier, all you have to do is buy a card, sign the names and throw some money into the card. My family is the worst at picking stuff out that I like. They always buy me things that my little cousins like. Then when I ask for something they never get me the things I asked for. Then I have to return it and I always feel like I am hurting their feelings when I ask for the receipts. I just like asking for money because then I don't have to go through the struggle of returning everything. It’s easier to just take the money and go shopping. I think money is the best birthday gift.

  Cons:

The only bad thing about getting money for a gift is that you don't have anything to unwrap. But that’s what Christmas is for, right? Sometimes you get those cheap skates that only give you like ten bucks when you say you only want money. Then you're not able to buy the things you wanted to buy for yourself. Then there are those times that you go shopping after your birthday and then you can’t find the things you want. So sometimes it is easier to just have your friends and family just buys you the things you want.

Presents vs. Money

                Pros
I love getting presents for my birthday or for Christmas. I like not having to go out and go shopping for my own stuff. I hate shopping and this saves me from having to go shopping. I love opening the presents and having it be a surprise. If I just got money I wouldn’t have any surprises and I love having and getting and giving surprises. It’s great. I feel like getting a present is more from the heart and it shows they gave an effort to find something for you. Also it shows whether someone knows something about you or whether they don’t. And if they don’t you can always return the present they got you and just say thank you and smile in the moment. I love to see the creative ways that people give presents and what cool wrapping paper they use for your present.
                Cons
I hate getting presents that I don’t like and having to go and return them or basically sometimes not getting any present at all because you can return it. I would rather get money and go buy something I know I can use and or like. I know that I like it. When people ask me what I want for my birthday or Christmas it is always easier to say money than going through a list of objects. Also if I wanted something expensive no one would be willing to buy that for me so if I ask for money I can put all the money together and get that myself and that way I get what I want. I would rather go and buy clothe that I know fit me than going back and having to try it on anyway. It saves time for not only me but the person who gave me that money.

Breakfast vs. Dinner

            Pros:
Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. I just love breakfast foods. I could eat breakfast foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It is delicious my favorite breakfast meal would have to be pancakes, fruit and turkey bacon. I could literally eat that every day! I get so excited when my mom says she is making breakfast for dinner. The best part about breakfast is that the food tastes so good at any point of the day. There are so many different foods that fall under this category. Everyone says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Which I believe is true. I think it’s very important to eat breakfast every morning. I notice when I eat a good breakfast in the morning I start my day off with a lot of energy. When I eat in the morning I find myself eating less during the day. Even if I eat a granola bar or an apple I find myself eating less throughout the day. Breakfast is delicious and very important.
            Cons:
Breakfast is great in all but some people don’t find it as important as other meals. Some people hate breakfast foods and never eat breakfast. Some people think that it’s too early to eat food before they start the day. Some families on holidays don’t even bother eating breakfast. They are too worried about preparing their major dinner or lunch. Then some people are very rushed in the mornings and they don’t get up early enough to make themselves breakfast. With breakfast there aren’t as many options as dinner has. I love to sleep in in the mornings so on the weekends I never wake up early enough to eat breakfast. I usually wake up as my mom is finishing making breakfast. So with people like me it is too early and it’s easy to miss.

Dinner vs. Breakfast

            Pros
Dinner is a great meal. It’s like the end of the day meal to catch up on your eating. If you haven’t eaten all day, you can eat a big dinner and be full all night long. Dinner is more popular anyway, not many people eat breakfast but most people eat dinner every day. There are so many chose for dinner, you can have any kind of meat or pasta or soup… etc. There are so many options to choose from any day. Dinner can be big or small and either way it’s normal. On holiday I have big dinners, not breakfasts because dinner is more important to most families. My favorite dinner is chicken. I love chicken and I can’t eat chicken for breakfast without getting comments and being told “put that back!” but for dinner I can eat as much as I want. Dinner is the last meal of the day, best for last.
            Cons
Dinner is great and all but sometimes it takes too long to prepare. Breakfast is also great because you can have it at any time in the day. Just the other day I had cereal for a snack before bed. They have a thing called brunch for a reason, because breakfast fits into any meal. I love making breakfast foods. It’s so much fun, like I make breakfast for my friends and my brothers’ friends as well. I make pancakes and waffles and eggs and bacon and sausage. Breakfast is the first thing I ever learned to prepare because it’s the easiest and still the tastiest. Breakfast is also the most important meal of the day. It is the first. So many foods fall under the breakfast category. Such as, fruit, meat, drinks, dairy, and protein like eggs, vegetables like potatoes. Breakfast is just great.

White vs. Black

            Pros:
White is the best color, you can do so much with it. When you think about white you think or something that is brand new or something that has never been used. Just like a piece of paper. White is such a boring color at first but it is so easy to make it exciting. Like most artists use white paper when creating a piece of work. It is easier to find colors that show up on a white background rather than on a black background. When I think of white I think of nice, bright things. Black is just such a depressing color, when white is just so bright and nice to look at. Since white is so much brighter than black it makes me feel more awake and not as tired. Black or a dark room makes me super tired but, a bright, white room wakes me up and makes me feel alive.
            Cons:
There are many good things about white and a lot of bad things about white. Since white is so plain it is very easy to get dirty. Like white pants, shoes and shirts get so dirty so fast. Even if you don’t run through a mud pile, white shoes and white clothing find a way to get dirty fast. Then with white shirts or pants they tend to fade after a few washes. Some people have white walls or white carpets in their houses. I personally think they are crazy for doing that because if a person walks in the carpet instantly get dirty. Then if you have little kids in the household, and they get ahold of a marker or crayon that wall is instantly dirty. The worst thing about white is it is so hard to get stains out of. There is really no way to clean white objects besides soaking them in bleach which is a pain.

Black vs. White

            Pros
Black is good for when you want to sleep. It’s harder to sleep in white or light conditions. You sleep better in dark or black places. That’s why we all should sleep at night and not during the day. That’s why a nap is only hours when you sleep at night it’s normally longer. Black is also a very good color to express your emotion. You wear black if you’re sad or depressed and you prefer using black over color. There are so many things that are black. The computer I’m using right now is black, coffee is black, and writing in books is black. We use things that are black every day. Black is a great descriptive word, the black night, black cat, black water, black shade…etc. Black and dark are the same. The shade dark is used by adding black. Black is in everything. White is just the absence of black. No one burns when it’s dark or “black” outside and no one hurts their eyes squinting. When its black outside you can use light up things and have a lot of fun.
            Cons
Black is a very depressing color. It’s just so boring. White is everywhere. Everything is made from white. Most things start out white, paintings, paper and colors. Colors are just pigments added to white. White is part of everything. You use white things every day, paper, frosting, polar bears, shirts. When you make tie dye, what do you start with? A white t-shirt. It’s what everything starts from. I like what you can do with white. You can color it or paint it or dip it. White is having more options. White is cheery and uplifting. White is the color you see a bride in at a wedding and she is always happy. White is pure, like angels. White is like light, it lights up rooms and brings happiness and enlightens people. Who wants to sit in a dark room? I certainly don’t. I want as much light as possible. Right now if I counted all the white things I see it would be impossible. There are so many shades and tints of white everywhere you look.

Sister vs. Brother

Pros:
I don’t have a sister but I have always wanted one. I have three brothers and they are just so annoying I cannot stand them. My brother Robbie has a girlfriend, Lindsey; she is like a sister to me. She always gives me advice, takes me shopping and takes me on dates just her and me. I wish I had a sister because my friend has an older sister and she always gets advice from her. It is very hard to get advice about certain things from my brothers. I think the best thing about having an older or younger sister would have to be that you can get advice or give advice to each other. If I had an older sister I would always be with her. I think it would be so much fun to go shopping or play the same sport as them. I would love to have an older sister that I could share clothes, shoes or makeup with. I have always wanted a sister. I think things would be so much easier. I would love to have an older sister that I could get an opinion from instead of going to mom about things. Having a sister would help so much during the mornings, because I never know what to wear, or what looks good. I would love to have a sister to do my hair and nails because I am not very good with that stuff. I wish I had a sister so I could get an honest opinion from someone I trust. Having a sister would be great and very helpful.
Cons:
As much as I want a sister, I am grateful I only have brothers. I think having a sister would get annoying after a while. My brothers and I get in fight all the time. I think if I had a sister we would fight even more than how much I fight with my brothers. I like having brothers because they teach me different things to do with sports and other outdoor activities. If I had a sister I would always want to borrow her clothes. I don’t think that, that would go over very well I think my sister would get very annoyed with that very easily. Since I am not a very girly girl I think we would fight a lot if my sister was a girly girl, I feel like we would get very annoyed with each other.

Overall I would love to have a sister I think it would be awesome.

Brother vs. Sister

            Pros
I love having brothers. I personally have two brothers, one older one younger. It’s great. I believe that if I didn’t have them I wouldn’t have joined sports or be what I am. I learned mostly everything I have done from watching my older brother. I also believe he made me tougher. I’m not sexist and I don’t like people who are but if I had a sister I probably would not have any self-defense and I wouldn’t be as tough. I would be a lot more girly too. I have a higher tolerance for pain because he picked on me and beat up on me. I like that. Also a good thing about brothers is they are protective. My older brother is very protective and I love it. I know that I am always safe. Even little brothers are fun too. As an older sister I like to dress my little brother up and he has been young enough I can convince him to let me. My younger brother is like my best friend. He isn’t as protective but he can help me do things and he always has fun with me. I love being able to do boyish stuff and no one holds me back or judge’s me because of it. If I had a sister it would be different. I would be the odd one. But I just fit in with “the boys”.
            Cons
I don’t have any sisters but I personally think I would have loved to have one. I do a lot of things by myself because I know my brothers wouldn’t do it. Like girl stuff. Like when I ask for opinions on my clothing my brothers would always say it’s too low or too short, I would rather a real opinion. There are times when I don’t feel like playing outside and getting dirty. Then normally I would go off and be by myself but I wish I had a sister to do that with. I love to do my nails and my hair but it’s hard doing it to me sometimes. I would love to have someone to do that to and with. If I had a sister I would probably like to go shopping more and do more girly stuff. Also I could tell her girl problems that my brothers would probably laugh at or just not care about. I think that would be a lot better. I hate having brothers because sometimes they leave me out of something. Like if they wanted to go mudding, they wouldn’t ask me. They would just leave and go together. Sometimes they will match their shoes or clothing and they won’t let me because that’s “weird”.
