Sports vs. School

            Pros:
I think sports are so much fun. There are so many different sports and teams to choose from.  Unlike with schooling, in sports if you don’t make a certain team there are many other teams you can try out for. But, with academics if you fail an entry test you don’t have a chance to get into that field until the next year or maybe even longer than that. If you’re really good at sports then you’re able to get different types of scholarships. If you’re smart and athletic then you have a chance to get a scholarship to college for academics and sports. In the long run if you’re very active and participate in many sports you will have a higher chance of being in shape when you’re older. I think sports are fun and a great way to stay in shape and a great way to be healthy.
            Cons:
In different ways academics are more important than sports are. It’s obvious that the smarter you are the better college you will either get accepted to or get into. Then after college academics help to get better paying jobs. If you take schooling seriously the better your grades will be and the easier college will be. Education plays a big role in order to get into a high ranked college and to be ranked higher in society. If you have a great education you will be able to get an office job and will not have to do physical labor. If you have a higher education there is a higher chance you will get your dream job. Being both smart and athletic will look very good on resumes and you will have a better chance at getting the job you’re applying for.  I focus on my academics more than I focus on my sports and physical fitness. But I believe both are very important to live a successful life.

School vs. Sports

            Pros
You don’t have to be athletic to get anywhere in life. You can play no sports and still do fine in life. Most of the jobs today are based on education. It is more important than activities and sports. In school most of your classes test you on what you know and not what you can do physically. Even in gym they want you to know stuff mentally and not only physically. To pass college courses, and to even get scholarships, you need good grades. You can’t rely on strength or endurance or skill to get you a job in life. How many people do you know that can get bad grades and still get scholarships? I don’t know any and that’s because you need to be mentally mature and have higher intelligence to make it through life successfully.
            Cons
As much as you need intelligence, physically skill is helpful in many things. There might be more occupations with intellectual skills needed but there are also a lot of physical jobs. Also if you are healthier and more physically fit there is a larger chance that you will live longer and be able to continue your career longer therefore making more money for you and maybe a family that you are supporting. A lot of things in life can be and are better if you are healthy. You can participate in more activities and be open to more options in life. You can go and see more places and be able to do more things. Sports open kids and adults to more options than sitting at home all day.

Night vs. Day

            Pros:
The nights are not fun during the school year, but during the summer they are better than the day. I love summer nights, they are so much fun. During the summer the days are so hot and humid; but then when the night comes everything cools off. I hate the summer days they are too hot sometimes. That’s why the nights are better than the day.  I love hanging out with my friends during the night. Everything just gets better when it gets dark out. When it gets dark out you’re able to play with glow sticks and run around like idiots. I love having bonfires and making s’mores, spider dogs, sausage and hobo pies with my friends. Then my friend’s and I act like little kids when we hang out. So, we listen to Hannah Montana or High School Musical and go crazy at night and act like idiots. We sing and dance to the old songs and pretty much just act ridiculously crazy. The best thing about summer nights is going midnight swimming. I love summer nights they are so much fun. I can’t wait for parties and get together’ with my closest friends this summer.
            Cons:
I like the summer days just as much as I like summer nights. But I hate school days just as much as I hate school nights. Summer days are fun when they aren’t blazing hot. It’s always fun to go to amusement parks and to the water parks. I love going to water parks during the day and going down the water slides. They are my favorite. I like the days because there are so many things you’re able to do. There are many places to go during the day. Many places aren’t open 24/7. Summer days are just as fun as summer nights.

Day vs. Night

            Pros
Day has so many options. Every morning you wake up and decide what to do. I love having a choice. I like not knowing what’s going to happen and during the day anything can happen. You never know what is going to happen during the day. At night you mostly sleep, usually. Most people sleep. That’s kind of really boring. In the day there are many different weather conditions. You can do so much in any weather condition. At night it’s mostly cold and wet. I hate at night when there are the most bugs out. It sucks because I always get bitten. I hate it and if I don’t want to get bitten I have to wear pants and a sweatshirt and then I get hot and uncomfortable.
            Cons
I love the night because my favorite thing to do is play with glow sticks and black lights and other glow stuff. I love using them and breaking them I also like the night because it makes games more fun like hide and seek and ghost in the graveyard. I also love to swim at night. It’s not pretty and relaxing. Much better than during the day when it’s mainly to cool off. I love having bonfires and roasting marshmallows and hot dogs and maybe sausage. It is a lot more fun than doing that on a grill during the day. Also I hate heat and it’s always cooler at night so in the summer the night is always the perfect temperature. I burn really easily and at night I can’t be burned unless I jumped in a fire, highly unlikely.

Money vs. Presents

  Pros:

Everyone is always excited for their birthday every year. But they never know what they want to get from their friends and family as gifts. Like with my family I get asked the same question every year "What do you want?” My answer is the same every year, "money". I think it’s easier just to ask for money because then the friends and family don't have to worry about going shopping, getting the gift on time, and buying the right size, style or color clothing. All around it’s just easier, all you have to do is buy a card, sign the names and throw some money into the card. My family is the worst at picking stuff out that I like. They always buy me things that my little cousins like. Then when I ask for something they never get me the things I asked for. Then I have to return it and I always feel like I am hurting their feelings when I ask for the receipts. I just like asking for money because then I don't have to go through the struggle of returning everything. It’s easier to just take the money and go shopping. I think money is the best birthday gift.

  Cons:

The only bad thing about getting money for a gift is that you don't have anything to unwrap. But that’s what Christmas is for, right? Sometimes you get those cheap skates that only give you like ten bucks when you say you only want money. Then you're not able to buy the things you wanted to buy for yourself. Then there are those times that you go shopping after your birthday and then you can’t find the things you want. So sometimes it is easier to just have your friends and family just buys you the things you want.

Presents vs. Money

                Pros
I love getting presents for my birthday or for Christmas. I like not having to go out and go shopping for my own stuff. I hate shopping and this saves me from having to go shopping. I love opening the presents and having it be a surprise. If I just got money I wouldn’t have any surprises and I love having and getting and giving surprises. It’s great. I feel like getting a present is more from the heart and it shows they gave an effort to find something for you. Also it shows whether someone knows something about you or whether they don’t. And if they don’t you can always return the present they got you and just say thank you and smile in the moment. I love to see the creative ways that people give presents and what cool wrapping paper they use for your present.
                Cons
I hate getting presents that I don’t like and having to go and return them or basically sometimes not getting any present at all because you can return it. I would rather get money and go buy something I know I can use and or like. I know that I like it. When people ask me what I want for my birthday or Christmas it is always easier to say money than going through a list of objects. Also if I wanted something expensive no one would be willing to buy that for me so if I ask for money I can put all the money together and get that myself and that way I get what I want. I would rather go and buy clothe that I know fit me than going back and having to try it on anyway. It saves time for not only me but the person who gave me that money.

Breakfast vs. Dinner

            Pros:
Breakfast is probably my favorite meal of the day. I just love breakfast foods. I could eat breakfast foods for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It is delicious my favorite breakfast meal would have to be pancakes, fruit and turkey bacon. I could literally eat that every day! I get so excited when my mom says she is making breakfast for dinner. The best part about breakfast is that the food tastes so good at any point of the day. There are so many different foods that fall under this category. Everyone says that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Which I believe is true. I think it’s very important to eat breakfast every morning. I notice when I eat a good breakfast in the morning I start my day off with a lot of energy. When I eat in the morning I find myself eating less during the day. Even if I eat a granola bar or an apple I find myself eating less throughout the day. Breakfast is delicious and very important.
            Cons:
Breakfast is great in all but some people don’t find it as important as other meals. Some people hate breakfast foods and never eat breakfast. Some people think that it’s too early to eat food before they start the day. Some families on holidays don’t even bother eating breakfast. They are too worried about preparing their major dinner or lunch. Then some people are very rushed in the mornings and they don’t get up early enough to make themselves breakfast. With breakfast there aren’t as many options as dinner has. I love to sleep in in the mornings so on the weekends I never wake up early enough to eat breakfast. I usually wake up as my mom is finishing making breakfast. So with people like me it is too early and it’s easy to miss.
